Short Film: 'Mr Deaf'

'Mr Deaf' is a short film in english subtitles that follows a day in the life of Mr Deaf goes to doctor.



It is about man with profoundly Deaf wear like old fashion suit to shows that the film is talking in past, he went on to say the medical receptionist failed to understand that he was Deaf... Suddenly, a verbally abusive by the receptionist discriminated him and told to get his mother for sign language interpreter, as a result of his mother was Deaf too. This all smacks discrimination including discrimination against Deaf individuals.

Deafblindness may be the result of different etiologies. But there are many strategies for apapting to Deafblindness and being able to life to the fullest.



Many believe Deafblind means total deafness or blindness and this is often not the case.

The two men, 45, from the Antwerp region were both born Deaf and sought euthanasia after finding that they would also soon go blind.



The pair told doctors that they were unable to bear the thought of not being able to see each other again.

John Meletse is opening up about being deaf, gay, and HIV positive. John Meletse discusses his personal experiences and struggles, and his desire to help others. He's is inspiring the community to communicate openly about sex, but is finding new ways to communicate with text messaging and social media in which a role model for the Deaf community. In 2005 a shocking set of sexual abuse cases happened at a school for Deaf girls. The teachers involved received relatively light sentences - that maybe about to change. SILENCED, based on a novel details the drama that went during that horrific time in perhaps one of the most controversial films of the year. As of the time of writing, the entire nation is in an uproar, that at the very least, reveals in stark detail the power of film. The film has also been at number one for weeks.

Based off the novel 'Dokani' - The Crucible tells the story of an art teacher whom begins teaching at a Deaf school. When he begins teaching there, he is dreaded by the uncomfortable atmosphere and fears there is more to the school than meets the eye, and there is. He, and a human rights activist, crack down on the school and their unfair dealings, and soon descovers that there is a man whom sexually assaults the little girls there. Movie was proposed by leading actor Gong Yoo, whom fell in love with the book during his time in the milirary, and felt the book needed to be adapted into film. This also marks Gong Yoo's 1st role outside of romantic comedies, which he was type-casted with.



The Crucbile hits South Korean theater, September 22nd, 2011.
