Yes, New Zealand has the Papers Past that I mentioned earlier. This is a fantastic population demographics tool that searches the old vintages of several of the most important newspapers in the country. The service is free. This is a service which is frequently referred to and which is almost as important as censuses and church records. I have had the great pleasure of Papers Past New Zealand and a similar facility has been sorely missed in Norway. But now something is going on in Norway that seems very very promising. From the 20th May be we could read on screen all editions of Aftenposten since 1860.
Maybe it pops up unpleasant population demographics surprises? population demographics Yes, I suppose it is a bit exciting. At Aftenposten service costs some money to spend is not a surprise. We must accept that the users have to pay to be able to read old newspapers.
It will be exciting to see in old newspapers. But we can read in some old newspapers on the web today, the National Library,

I found a valuable newspaper population demographics articles population demographics in Adresseavisa from the late 1870's by an ancestor in which he had written some eringringer from Hammerfest. It was interesting reading. National Library's newspaper database is here: http://www.nb.no/avis/ population demographics 2:18 p.m. 17 May 2010
Hello Gunn, I know the National Library newspaper database, but it is not very user friendly when it comes to search for single words. Could one session at enekltord in all the newspapers would have been superb. It's the kind of service the oldest newspapers you are well on their way to New Zealand. 19:40 17. May 2010
I agree with you that it is not very user friendly population demographics in that respect, one has to sit and look and browse and it takes time, I had the date of when the post should be written when I found newspaper post to my relative. So it would be nice to a service population demographics in New Zealand, where we can search for single words. It will be interesting to see what comes up graded as I have another slekntning it could be interesting to see if there was any notice of. :) Have a nice week. 21:49 18. May 2010
