New FamilySearch is super for us working with Oslo / Kristiania. (And elsewhere of course, but Oslo is the problem with many parishes). They've put out a lot of new material, and they also recorded some burial lists. Also remember that you can find census for including Aker at Family Search. However, I had a little problem when I got hit on Oslo Genealogy in FS - namely, that in many regisrtreringer had not listed the church a baptism / marriage took place, only Oslo, Oslo, Norway - or even worse, taxa du Oslo, Akershus, Norway. I brought taxa du this up with Elaine as our women here in SLC, and now I know how to find this out! Here is an example: taxa du
